We are Brewlands Farms, located at The Estate Office, Brewlands Estate, Doldy Farm House, Glenisla, Pertshire, PH11 8QJ. This company employs the staff who look after you during your stay and handle all your queries and requests whilst you stay with us.

When you come to visit in person or call our venues directly, Brewlands Farms is responsible for handling your personal data.

The Types of Data we Collect
NAMES AND CONTACT INFORMATION

We collect this information when you make an enquiry or booking by email, phone or our website. We collect these details to enter into a contract with you, or to perform the contract in place between us.

We also collect this information when we are contacted by a travel agent or tour operator. We collect these details under our legitimate interest to promote our business and progress any enquiries.

We will collect this information when you provide us with your preference to receive news updates from us. When we send you our news updates because you have opted-in to receive them, we rely on your consent to contact you. If you have not opted-in and we send you our news updates emails, we do this because of our legitimate interest to promote our business.

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DIET

We collect this information when you make a booking for our catering service. This is to ensure the vital interests of our guests (health).

We collect this information when you make an enquiry or booking by email, phone or our website.

What are my Rights?

  • ask us to restrict our handling of your personal data;

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with us or the Information Commissioner’s Office, the supervisory authority for data protection issues in the United Kingdom. If you are based outside of the UK, you can find your relevant supervisory authority here.

Please keep in mind that privacy law is complicated, and these rights will not always be available to you all of the time.

How is my Data Handled?

Your personal data is always encrypted when being sent between our systems, this is shown by the lock icon in your web browser when booking online. Where possible your personal data is also encrypted at rest. Where we are storing information about you on physical media i.e. booking form, this is stored securely and access restricted to only those who need it to administer your stay.

Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the UK and the EU, we ensure it receives additional protection as required by law. To keep this privacy policy short and easy to understand, we haven’t set out the specific circumstances when these protection measures are used.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as we need it and for the purposes we initially collected it for unless we are required to keep it for longer to comply with our legal, accounting or regulatory requirements.
